The Rockefeller Centre

The Rockefeller Center is one of the most popular New York tourist attractions. It is a large complex consisting of 19 commercial buildings covering 22 acres in New York City. Back in 1930, Philanthropist John D Rockefeller conceived the idea of building a ‘city within a city’-The Rockefeller stadium. An estimated million people walk through the Rockefeller center every year.

In the 2010s Rockefeller Centre introduced the first-ever solar-powered Christmas tree using energy-efficient LED lights. With the return of The Tonight Show and The Tony awards, Rockefeller center looks to have a bright future ahead.
